Why we stock one

One Amflow, chosen on purpose

We sell Riese & Müller and Moustache because they are the best touring and trekking e-bikes we know. We are adding one Amflow, the TL Carbon, because it does something neither of those ranges does: carbon, full suspension, electronic shifting, lights, racks and mudguards, from £3,199. That is a lot of bike for the money, and we think some of our customers should be able to ride one before they decide.

The brand

Who Amflow are

Amflow TL Carbon frame, showing the full carbon construction

Amflow are new, and they say so themselves. Founded in 2023, a team that describes itself as tech experts who ride mountain bikes, based in Shenzhen. They make four bikes. Three are electric mountain bikes. The fourth, the TL Carbon, launched in June 2026 as their first touring bike, and it is the only one we sell.

Everything they build runs the Avinox drive system, developed by DJI. Amflow were the first bikes to carry it, and the Avinox system won a Eurobike Award in 2024. Both the TL Carbon and the Avinox drive system are certified by TÜV SÜD.

We are an official Amflow dealer. Amflow are new here and their UK dealer network is still small. If you are in the South West and you want to see one in person, ride it on real hills and have someone talk you through how it compares with a Riese & Müller, come to Little Dartmouth.

The motor

The Avinox drive system

Avinox M2 drive unit fitted to the Amflow TL Carbon

The motor is the reason the bike exists. The Avinox M2 is rated at 110 Nm and peaks at 125 Nm, from a 250 W motor that peaks at 1,100 W, and the unit weighs 2.65 kg. For comparison, the Bosch CX in our Riese & Müller range is rated at 120 Nm after Performance Upgrade 2.0, so the Avinox sits a little under Bosch on its rated figure and a little over it at peak. In practice both will take you up anything in Devon.

The other thing worth knowing is SmoothShift. The TL shifts electronically, using TRP's E.A.S.I. derailleur, and the motor finishes a gear change for you when it detects one, so you can shift at a standstill or part way up a climb without pedalling through it. It does not choose gears for you. It just completes the ones you choose.

Questions

Amflow FAQs

Is Amflow a DJI company?

Amflow build their bikes around the Avinox drive system, which was developed by DJI. Beyond that, neither company publishes the corporate relationship, so we do not claim one. What matters for you is that the motor has DJI's engineering behind it and the bike has Amflow's name on the warranty.

Which Amflow bikes does ebikeist sell?

One: the TL Carbon, Amflow's all-terrain touring bike. Amflow also make the PX, PR and PL electric mountain bikes, and we do not stock those.

How much is the Amflow TL Carbon in the UK?

From £3,199, the same starting price for either frame size. Options such as the second battery add to that. It is not yet available to order, so register your interest on the TL Carbon page and we will tell you when it lands.

Can I test ride an Amflow at ebikeist?

Yes, at our showroom at Little Dartmouth, as soon as the first bike arrives. Test rides are showroom only; we do not bring bikes to your home.

Is the Amflow TL Carbon road legal in the UK?

Yes. It is a standard electrically assisted pedal cycle: a 250 W rated motor with assistance to 25 km/h (15.5 mph), set automatically for the UK.

What sizes does the Amflow TL Carbon come in?

Two frames covering four sizes. The S&M frame suits riders from 155 cm to 175 cm (5'1" to 5'8"), and the L&XL frame from 175 cm to 190 cm (5'8" to 6'3"). Both stems come in the box and we set yours up at handover, so there is no stem length to work out online.

Who services an Amflow in the South West?

Bring it to us at Little Dartmouth. We are an official Amflow dealer and we are setting up to look after the TL Carbon in the workshop alongside our Bosch bikes.
