The Clutch is Moustache’s new long-travel e-MTB platform built around the Pinion MGU12 motor and gearbox in one sealed unit. It delivers instant electronic shifting in manual, semi-automatic or automatic modes, with a smooth final drive that is belt or chain, depending on the model. A large 780 Wh in-frame battery powers all builds, giving real range for long uplifts and big mountain days. Geometry is progressive with a mullet wheel setup and a slack head angle for confident handling.

• Clutch SUV 150.7 EQ
  150 mm front and 150 mm rear travel, mullet wheels, belt final drive and full equipment for daily use. Comes ready with mudguards, lights and a rear rack, plus powerful four-piston brakes and a dropper.

• Clutch 160.7
  Enduro-ready chassis with 170 mm front and 160 mm rear travel, mullet wheels and a chain final drive for a keen entry to the range. Four-piston brakes and dropper as standard.

• Clutch 160.8
  The same long-travel platform with upgraded suspension and a belt final drive for low maintenance and quiet running.

• Clutch 160.9
  The flagship build with top-tier suspension and powerful braking for repeated big descents, plus a belt final drive.

If you want a low-maintenance e-MTB that climbs strongly, stays quiet and composed on rough descents and can be set up for trail or daily use, the Clutch makes it simple.

1. Choose your bike. Pick the specification, frame size and colour. The price updates as you go.

2. Add your options. Choose any factory options and accessories from the bike image below. Anything fitted at the factory has to be specified now, so if you are unsure, leave it and we will talk it through with you.

3. Check out with a 10% deposit. The balance is only due once your bike is built and ready to come to you.

4. We call you. Within one working day (Tuesday to Friday) we go through the whole build: sizing, motor and gearing, battery, display, brakes, racks, tyres and accessories. Nothing goes to the factory until you are happy with it, and you can change or cancel anything up to that point.

5. We place the order and keep you posted. We confirm an estimated delivery window before the order goes in, and flag anything in your specification that extends it.

6. We build it and hand it over. Every bike is checked and built by our Cytech qualified mechanic at our workshop at Little Dartmouth before it goes anywhere. Free delivery throughout England and Wales, fully built, or free collection from us by appointment.

Deposit: 10% of your order value, taken at checkout.

Fully refundable until you confirm. Your deposit is refundable right up to the moment you confirm the final specification with us. If you change your mind before then, you get it back.

Balance: due once your bike is built and before it is delivered or collected.

Our review call or email: within one working day (Tuesday to Friday) we go through sizing, motor and gearing, battery, display, brakes, racks, tyres and any accessories with you.

Changes before confirmation: change anything, or cancel altogether. Your deposit is refunded if you decide not to go ahead.

After confirmation: we place the order with the factory and keep you updated through to build, checks and handover. If anything changes materially at the factory end, we will talk through the alternatives with you, including cancelling.

Lead time: we confirm an estimated delivery window before placing the factory order, and tell you if any option you have chosen extends it.

Delivery: your bike is built and checked at our Little Dartmouth workshop, then delivered free throughout England and Wales, or collected from us by appointment.

These bikes are built to order. When you place an order, Moustache build that exact bike for you: your frame size, your gearing, your colour, your options. It is not picked off a shelf and it cannot be sold to somebody else if the order falls through.

The deposit confirms that build slot with the factory and lets us commit to it on your behalf. It is 10% of the order value, and it is fully refundable until you confirm the final specification with us, which is a conversation, not a form.

It also buys you our time. Between your order and the factory order going in, we go through the whole build with you: whether the size is right, whether the gearing suits your riding, what you need fitted and what you do not. Most people change something at that stage, and there is no charge for it.

The Clutch is available in four frame sizes:

• Small (370 mm): for riders 1.55 – 1.70 m
  
• Medium (400 mm): for riders 1.65 – 1.80 m
  
• Large (430 mm): for riders 1.75 – 1.90 m
  
• X-Large (460 mm): for riders 1.85 – 2.03 m
