Can I test ride?

Yes, you can! We understand that a test ride is the best way to experience an e-bike. To help you feel confident in your choice, we offer two convenient ways to try our bikes:

  • At-home test rides are available if you live within the BA, BS, GL, SN, and NP postcode areas. We can bring the e-bikes to you so you can experience them in your own environment. Spaces for this service are limited. The cost is £49 which will be fully refunded against the purchase of a bike.
  • Meet us on a ride: If neither of the above options work for you, join us on one of our e-bike meet-ups. We will provide a test bike for you to ride for £49, which can be refunded against the purchase of a bike.

To arrange a test ride, please call us.

Where do you deliver?

We offer free delivery to any address in England & Wales. Your e-bike will arrive fully built and ready to ride, with no need for specialist tools or the hassle of disposing of large amounts of packaging.

For Delivery to Scotland:

  • Delivery is possible to Edinburgh and Glasgow for a cost of £249.
  • For all other locations in Scotland, please contact us for a personalised delivery quotation.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands at this time.

Who will maintain my bike?

We're committed to keeping your e-bike in perfect running order, and we offer two convenient ways to get your bike serviced by our expert mechanics.

Kingsbridge Workshop Servicing
Our workshop is being set up, and maintenance bookings are paused for now. We still provide pre‑delivery bike setup, product support by phone and email, and we’ll help with manufacturer warranty needs. For any queries, just get in touch.

Mobile Servicing (Bristol & Gloucestershire Area)
For customers in the Bristol and Gloucestershire area, our mobile servicing solution brings the workshop to you. Our experienced mechanics will carry out a comprehensive service on-site at your home or office, saving you time and hassle.

  • The cost for a mobile service is £145, plus a mileage charge of £1 per mile based on the distance from central Bristol. For example, a service in Nailsworth would cost £145 for the service plus a £30 mileage fee (30 miles x £1).
  • If we are unable to complete the service on the same day, we will take your bike to our workshop and return it to you once the work is done. We will also provide a courtesy bike at no additional charge to keep you on the move.

To arrange a service, please call us.

Our warranty covers parts only and is valid for two years on any new bike and six months on used bikes.

    General e‑bike questions

    General E-Bike Questions

Here are some answers to common questions new e-bike riders often have. For more information, please visit our blog.

      • How far can I go on a single charge? The range of an e-bike can vary widely depending on many factors, including the battery size, rider weight, terrain, and the level of assistance you use. For a real-world example, you could expect a 500Wh battery to give you between 35 and 65 miles. A larger 750Wh battery can provide 60 to 75 miles or even more in ideal conditions. You can read more about range in our blog post, "Top 10 electric bike questions."
      • How fast do electric bikes go? In the UK, the law limits the assisted speed of an e-bike to 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Beyond this speed, the motor will stop providing assistance, but you can continue to pedal to go faster under your own power. For more detail, check out our blog post, "What is the fastest Riese & Müller electric bike?."
      • Are e-bikes waterproof? E-bikes are designed to be ridden in all weather conditions. The main electrical components—the motor and battery—are sealed and water-resistant, meaning they are perfectly safe to ride in the rain. However, they are not designed to be submerged in water. For more tips on riding in wet weather and caring for your bike, read our blog post, "The Ultimate Guide to E-bikepacking."
      • How do I charge the battery and how long does it take? Charging an e-bike battery is similar to charging a laptop or a mobile phone. Simply plug the charger into a standard wall socket, and connect it to your bike's battery. A full charge from empty typically takes anywhere from 3 to 6 hours, depending on the battery's capacity.
